The company abis has a long standing experience in scientific consultancy for the realisation of Germany-wide PR campaings and special events in the field of nature conservation and envirommental protection as well as their "backing" on the internet.
Since 2004 abis participated in four Naturathlon events arranged by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation. abis was co-responsible for the project coordination as well as the organisation of events and the tour planning for the participating athletes.
During these nationwide major projects the topics "nature conservation" and "outdoor sports" were picked out as a central theme. In 2004 the tour lead through 18 places in natural parks, in 2005 it lead along the "Green Belt" (former inner-German border), and in 2007 the tour touched selected forst areas in Germany.
Since 2006 abis has provided advice to gistum in the concept development and design of GPS-aided nature and city tours (LiveWorld) and is also involved in the production of such tours.
